Elvin Jones (ur. 9 września 1928 w Pontiac, Michigan, zm. 18 maja 2004 w Englewood, New Jersey) – amerykański perkusista jazzowy.
W drugiej połowie lat pięćdziesiątych stał się znaczącą postacią sceny hard-bopowej. Nagrywał i występował z takimi postaciami jazzu, jak Duke Ellington, Paul Chambers, Miles Davis i Charlie Parker; w latach 1960-1965 był członkiem znanego kwartetu Johna Coltrane`a. Później współpracował mi.in. z Jimmym Garrisonem, Dave`em Liebmanem i Wyntonem Marsalisem.
Jego bracia Hank (pianista) i Thad (trębacz) także są (lub byli) wybitnymi muzykami jazzowymi.
Brał udział w nagraniu co najmniej kilkudziesięciu płyt, w tym kilkunastu jako lider.
Od 1991 roku był członkiem Percussive Hall of Fame.
